About the Text Case Converter
Accidentally left your caps lock key on while typing a long paragraph? Need to quickly format an essay or standardize the titles for a blog post? The OnlinePaste.com Case Converter is a free, instant tool that fixes text formatting errors without making you retype a single word.
How the Different Cases Work
Just paste your text into the box above and click one of the formatting buttons at the bottom of the editor to instantly apply these styles:
Sentence case:
Capitalizes only the very first letter of a sentence (and letters that follow a period, exclamation mark, or question mark). Everything else is converted to lowercase.
lower case:
Removes all capitalization from your text, making every single letter lowercase.
UPPER CASE:
Converts every letter into a capital letter. Perfect for shouting on the internet or highlighting a warning.
Capitalized Case:
Takes the first letter of every single word and makes it uppercase, regardless of what the word is.
Title Case:
Similar to Capitalized Case, but it follows grammar rules. It capitalizes major words while keeping minor connecting words (like a, an, the, and, but, or) lowercase, making it perfect for blog titles and book headers.
aLtErNaTiNg & InVeRsE:
These are fun, internet-style text formats. Alternating case shifts between lowercase and uppercase starting with a lowercase letter, while Inverse case does the exact opposite.
